Dear friends,
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Between staying at my parents house and having our schedule completely off whack, it's hard to keep up. But, I've decided to make it a priority starting next week with lots of fun, new posts.
It was a tough week for us but there is beauty in even the toughest times. Ara lost a good friend in a car crash last weekend and it's been heart breaking to watch him mourn his friend. I'm doing the best I can to hold up the fort while he gets through this but it's definitely been a wake up call for me. I've realized how fragile life is; we can be here today and gone tomorrow. This experience has taught me to be more present, enjoy today and hold on tight to the people I love. Every day is a gift and we are all so, so lucky to be here.
On that note, it's going to be a beautiful weekend in LA. 80 degrees and blue skies for days! We're planning to take a trip to the beach, wiggle our toes in the sand and soak up the sun.

Sorry to hear about your friend...it's always difficult when someone we know passes. It is a very sobering and humbling experience to say the least. It reminds me to make the most of every day.
